• Homeopathy and Energy. September 25th and 26th, 2010, with the South West Circle of Lakeland Homeopaths, in Bath.

“Homeopathy is energy medicine, yet there is little understanding of energy in homeopathic

theory. We know instinctively what a fiery, airy, watery or earthy person is like, and their likely dis-ease processes. Bringing this knowledge into consciousness and integrating it into our practices helps us to become more flexible, confident, and creative prescribers. It also helps us integrate flower essences, herbal formulae and nutritional advice into our prescribing. We will look at what subtle energy is, and how it is relevant to homeopathy; explore the chakra system and see how the chakras give rise to the five elements (ether, air, fire, water and earth); understand how the chakras (via the elements) form the emotions and the physical body; learn an easy method of doing an in-depth chakra/element analysis; learn how to introduce herbal formulae, colour remedies, flower essences, herbs, lifestyle changes and nutritional advice into homeopathy as well as using the new Harmonic Resonance remedies.” Booking details here.

“A weekend exploring in detail the idea of the Realms in homeopathy. Those of you who like the (Sankaran/Bombay school) idea of Kingdoms will find this adds a fascinating new dimension. And those of you who struggle with the Sankaran/Kingdoms idea, and find it too heady, should find this much more intuitive and instinctual. And those of you who were at my last visit to Lakeland will get much more depth and information about the Realms. And those of you new to it...well, I hope to convey both how fascinating, beautiful, astonishing and yet practical it all is! We will look at the Realms of Sky, Earth, Underworld and Sea in terms of homeopathic remedies. We will also explore the Elementals. These are the fundamental building blocks of the Realms, and can be met and experienced as actual living, elemental beings. I'll introduce the new Elemental Essences as a way of working with these energies. Also, we will explore the Dragon Essences. The Dragons are to do with our basic human wounds (and so, our healing) about a given realm. They also represent :a powerful adversary: a gatekeeper; and potentially a hugely powerful Ally.
